Emily Bishop Runeari (she/her) is the founder of EBR Consulting. She is a fundraising and advocacy professional with over a decade of experience in philanthropy, fundraising and politics. Focusing on major and principal level gifts, Emily has over a decade of experience generating revenue through transformative relationships with high net worth individuals for both charitable and political organizations. Emily has been instrumental in creating strategic fundraising plans for teams and organizations of various sizes. She has held leadership roles at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Supermajority and the International Rescue Committee. 

Emily has a deep and lifelong commitment to social justice and an unrelenting desire to help organizations reach revenue goals in service of a more progressive America.  Her fundraising strategy is rooted in using quality relationship management to build long term revenue, always keeping the mission or the movement at the center of all fundraising.  

Emily (left in picture) lives in Westchester, NY with her wife and two daughters.  She is a women’s sports fan, a weightlifter, a Swiftie, and an ice-cream, book and beach lover.
